A ‘roof shout’ barbecue on Friday 14 December, marked the progress made by the construction crew building PGG Wrightson Seeds’ new facility at Lincoln.
Ngāi Tahu Property’s Development Team Manager Dean Christie says it was a good opportunity to mark a construction milestone in the new administration office for PGG Wrightson Seeds in the Lincoln agricultural hub.
Hanham and Philp Contractors are the project’s main contractor. Work began earlier this year following a blessing and sod turning ceremony in April.
Representatives from PGG Wrightson Seeds also shared in the burgers, hot dogs and bacon butties from Halswell Butcher cooked up by Lucy Gould, Julia Macklen, Jamie Miller and Ben Matheson from the Ngāi Tahu Property project team.
Dean says the afternoon was about appreciating the progress and effort to-date.
“We had a roof shout to thank the builders for their hard work.”
